Firstly, I would like to the thank the parents and players for taking the first step in having the boys at the ground on time and for the boys taking responsibility for themselves with our game day structure - a step in the right direction. We were slow to get moving in the first half and when players began to take note of instructions and follow them the game changed. Our second half brought a greater improvement and when the challenge was put to the players to kick a goal in the last they came home with 3. A fantastic "team" final quarter.
Thankyou to Shanyn Kearney and Jason Stavely (U10) boys for helping us make a full team and their contribution. Thanks to all helpers and welcome to Sharnee Freebairn who will be our medic for season 2008.

We came up against some very strong opposition, but to the credit of the boys they lifted their work rate in the second half, and we were much more competitive, scoring goals in the final quarter. Let’s put the game behind us – we have a whole season ahead. Thanks to Jack Leech and Jack O’Neil for coming up from the Under 10’s and helping us out.
